Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Drilldown Sports LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("Drilldown", "we", "us"), for using Drilldown Sports: the website at app.drilldownsports.com, drilldownsports.com and the Drilldown iPhone app. By creating an account or using Drilldown you agree to them. If you use Drilldown for a team, school or club, you agree to them for that organization too.

Accounts

• You need an account to use Drilldown. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
• Team owners create accounts on the website. Coaches, players, parents and supporters get one when a team invites them, and use Drilldown at no charge.
• The information you give us has to be accurate. Players under 13 should have an account only with a parent's permission. See our privacy policy.

Subscriptions

• A subscription belongs to the team owner's account and covers every team on it. Only the subscriber pays.
• Plans are paid monthly or annually, in US dollars. Current prices are on drilldownsports.com and on the Subscription page. Prices do not include any sales tax that applies, which is added where required.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the price of your plan then, and your card is charged until you cancel.
• If we change a price, we will tell subscribers by email at least 30 days before it applies to them.

The free trial

• A new subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. A card is required to start it.
• Nothing is charged during the trial. When it ends, your plan's first payment is charged to your card and the subscription renews from then on, unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• Each account, and each person or organization, gets one free trial.

Changing plan and the off season

• Moving up to a bigger plan, or from monthly to annual, takes effect at once, and the difference for the rest of your current billing period is charged then.
• Moving down, or putting a monthly plan away for the off season, takes effect at once, and the unused part of the period is credited to your next bill. Credits are not paid out in cash.
• An annual plan stays annual until its year ends.
• In the off season your teams stay readable and nothing can be saved, at the plan's off-season rate.

Cancelling and refunds

• You can cancel at any time, online: Subscription, then Manage billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Payments are not refunded for a part of a billing period, or for a period in which you did not use Drilldown, except where the law requires it.
• If you think you were charged by mistake, write to us within 60 days at [email protected] and we will look into it and refund any charge made in error.
• After a subscription ends, your teams stay readable but nothing can be saved, until you subscribe again.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, we and our payment processor will try your card again over the following days and tell you so you can update it. If every attempt fails, the subscription ends as if you had cancelled it.

Promo codes

• A promo code gives what it says when it is applied: a free period, or a percentage off, for a number of months, on the plans it names.
• Codes have no cash value, cannot be combined with other codes, and may have an expiry date or a limit on how many times they are used. We may end a code that is being misused.
• When a free period ends, your plan renews at its normal price if a card is on file. If none is, the plan ends and your teams stay readable.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms for the payment. Drilldown never sees or stores your card number.

Your team's content

• What you and your team put into Drilldown -- rosters, schedules, plays, film, statistics and messages -- is yours. You give us permission to store, process, copy and display it only as needed to run Drilldown for you, including film analysis by our AI service providers.
• Only upload film and pictures you have the right to use. You are responsible for having the permission of the people in them where it is needed, including a parent's for a minor.
• Do not use Drilldown to break the law, to harass anyone, to share anything sexually explicit or hateful, or to try to get into accounts or data that are not yours.

Our service

• We work to keep Drilldown available and your information safe, and we keep backups. Drilldown is provided "as is"; we do not promise it will always be available or free of mistakes, and statistics and AI film analysis should be checked by a coach.
• We may change or improve Drilldown. If we remove a feature a paid plan includes, we will tell subscribers first.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close a paid account without cause, we will refund the unused part of its current period.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Drilldown is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data beyond restoring it from our backups, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects subscribers, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
